Lewis Men’s Golf Is Fourth At UW-Parkside Fall Invitational

Ryan Frederick and Jack Pedersen both turned in an 80 in the first round.

The Flyers are within five strokes of each other after one round.
UW-Parkside Fall Invitational Round 1 Results

Kenosha, Wis. – The Lewis University men's golf team is in fourth-place (326) after one round at the UW-Parkside Fall Invitational on Monday (Sept. 16) at The Club at Strawberry Creek.
 
Junior Ryan Frederick (Lockport, Ill./Lockport) and freshman Jack Pedersen (Arvada, Colo./Ralson) both shot an 80 to be tied for 13th place.
 
Sophomore Jeremy Fraser (Frankfort, Ill./Lincoln-Way North) posted a first round 82 while classmate Robert Dofflemyer III (Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere) turned in an 84.
 
Sophomore Alex Thode (Washington, Iowa/Washington) rounded out the Flyers with an 85.
 
Playing as an individual, freshman Matt Stoner (Mokena, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) also turned in a first round 80 to tie his teammates in 13th place.

Host UW-Parkside lead the squads after combining to turn in a score of 307. Marquette's Adam Chester is in first-place with a first round 70. 
 
The UW-Parkside Fall Invitational resumes on Tuesday (Sept. 17) morning.
