Romeoville, Ill - After one of the most impressive performances in both programs histories to begin a season, the Lewis University men's and women's golf teams left their mark on the record books all throughout the start of the 2025-26 campaign.

For the men,Â
Ty Doty (South Elgin, Ill./South Elgin) now has the new individual season low scoring average for Lewis men's golf with a score of 73.78 while as a team, the Flyers ended the fall slate ranked 20
th in their region and 122
nd nationally. The team's average scoring  this season was 301 with an adjusted score of 299. The Lewis men's golf team won the Panther Invite with a low round score of 285 (1 over) for their first win of the new season.
Jann Atendido (Bensenville, Ill./IC Catholic Prep) placed 3
rd shooting 1 under and shot a 68 in the 2
nd round and
Ty Doty (South Elgin, Ill./South Elgin) placed 4
th shooting an even par and 69 in the 1
st round. At the UIndy Invite, their Round 3 Team Score was 1 under (287).

Ethan Hormann (Phoenix, Ariz./Mountain Ridge) shot a 74. At the Arch Cup, the Lewis men's golf team placed 3
rd and

rd individually shooting 3 under with a 70 in Round 1 and a 69 in Round 2.
As for the women, they ended their fall with a bang, winning the Flyer Fall Intercollegiate, Panther Invitational and Bearcat Dual Gender back-to-back-to-back, the first time under head coach
Greg Baresel that they accomplished the feat. Of those three tournament wins, the red and white also produced two individual tournament winners with
Sophia Lawler (Racine, Wis./Prairie) winning the Flyer Fall Intercollegiate andÂ
Kendall Farm (Carol Stream, Ill./West Chicago) taking home first at Bearcat Dual Gender. At that same event, Farm also hit her first career hole in one on the 13th hole. Lewis women's golf also set a new 18 hole scoring record (296 - Panther Invitational), 36 hole scoring record (602 - Panther Invitational) and 54 hole scoring record (913 - Flyer Intercollegiate).
Kyra Simon (Rockford, Illinois) tied the Flyers program record for a 18 hole scoring record (68) while Farm set the single season 18 hole average (77.36). The Flyers efforts culminated with the women's golf program
getting ranked 10th in the East Region according to SCOREBOARD and 57th nationally. It marks the first time that the red and white earned a regional top-10 ranking in program history.Â
Both programs will look to continue their hot streaks heading to the spring at the Pawley's Island Invitational.Â
