Augusta, Mich.- The Lewis University men's gold team pulled out their first team win of the season this weekend from Oct. 11-12 at the Panther Invite hosted by Davenport University. Junior,
Jann Atendido (Bensenville, Ill./IC Catholic Prep) came in third place and following closely behind was senior,
Ty Doty (South Elgin, Ill./South Elgin) coming in fourth place.
Atendido's best round came in at three under par (68) in his second round. He had a 15-hole streak which consisted of 11 pars and an impressive four birdies. Doty first round was his best, shooting two under par (69) and had three birdies on the back nine to shoot three under (32). Davenport's Cayden Kwan and Ohio Dominican's Chase Forsyth tied for first place individually, shooting three under par across 36 holes. The Flyer's took home the team victory shooting nine over par and won by three strokes.
