Lewis Men’s Swimming Drops Dual Meet At GVSU 150-81

ALLENDALE, Mich. – Lewis picked up three wins against Grand Valley State in a dual meet on Saturday (Oct. 24) afternoon.

Junior Adam Wise (Ocala, Fla./Forest) continued his impressive start to his Lewis career by winning the 50 free (21.61). Junior Brandon Thoman (Marco Island, Fla./Brarron Collier) touched first in the 200 fly, winning in a time of 1:57.32. Sophomore Mads Knoblauch (Svenborg, Denmark/Svenborg Gymnasium) won the 200 backstroke by nearly two seconds, touching the wall in a time of 1:53.69.

Lewis fell to the Lakers 150-81.

The Flyers return to the pool on Saturday (Oct. 31) in a double dual with conference-foe Truman State and non-conference opponent Lake Forest. The meet will start at noon at the Lewis Pool.
