No. 16 Northwest Missouri State Drops Lewis Men's Tennis, 6-3

Levandi earns two wins for the Flyers.

Maryville, Mo. – The Lewis University men's tennis team fell, 6-3, against No. 16 Northwest Missouri State on Friday (March 13) afternoon at the Frank Grube Tennis Courts.
With the victory, the Bearcats improve to 5-2 on the season, while the visiting Flyers move to 5-3.
Lewis seniors Armand Levandi (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) and Erik Aunapuu (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) defeated Northwest Missouri State's Alvaro Riveros and Aymeric Autones, 8-5, at No. 1 doubles. Levandi also added a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Romain Boissinot at No. 1 singles.
The final Flyer victory came from sophomore Mate Srdanovic (Split, Croatia/Graditeljsko-Geodetska Tehnicka), as he bested Riveros 6-1, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.
Lewis returns to action on Sunday (March 15), as the Flyers travel meet Emporia State for a 1:30 p.m. first serve.
