TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Lewis men's track and field wrapped up the final day of the John Mitchell Alabama Relays on Saturday (March 21).

Lewis' best performance came from sophomore Michael Leet (Arlington Heights, Ill./Prospect). He finished third in the 3000 meter steeplechase after a time of 9:27.62.

"The men are a little further away from where we need to be," Lewis head coach Dana Schwarting said. "A couple weeks of training before the Bellarmine meet will be much needed. We had some solid performances but need to really use these next few weeks."

Lewis returns to to the track April 3-4 at the Bellarmine Invitational.
