Lisle, Ill. - Lewis University junior
Dan Lentz (Minooka, Ill./Minooka) placed second in the 110-meter hurdles (15.26) to help the Flyer men's track and field team to a 10th-place finish at the Benedictine University Twilight Invitational on Friday (April 24) night.
North Central won the 19-team event with 143 points, while the Flyers totaled 19.
"We competed great (today)," Lewis head men's track and field coach
Dana Schwarting said. "Times and marks were hard to achieve with the wind and cold, but I'm proud of our effort and how hard we worked today."
Lewis returns to action on Friday (May 1), as they head to Liberty, Mo., to particpate in the 2015 Great Lakes Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
