Charlie Foster Complete Results

Kearney, Neb. - At the Charlie Foster Classic held over Friday and Saturday (Dec. 9 and 10) the Lewis University women's track and field team had three athletes place in two events.

In the shot put junior Mercedes Porter (Rantoul, Ill./Rantoul) took third with a throw of 33' 10 3/4", her first and best throw of the meet. In the high jump Lewis seniors Emily Vihnanek (Plainfield, Ill./Plainfield Central) and Jackie Marchildon (Saline, Mich./Saline) both placed third after making it to the 5' 1'' marking their highest jumps of the meet. 

The next meet for Lewis will be the Illiana Invite held in the Lewis Fieldhouse January 13 starting at 4 PM.
