Lewis Sweeps GLVC Female Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week Awards

Indianapolis, Ind. - The Lewis University women's track and field team swept the Great Lakes Valley Conference Female Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week awards as Rebecca Cravedi (Piacenza, Italy/) was named the track athlete of the week while Brynlee Keeran (Catlin, Ill./Catlin HS) was tabbed the leagues field athlete of the week. 

This marks the fourth consecutive week that the Flyers have earned at least one women's track and field weekly award from the GLVC. 

For Cravedi, she won the 60m and 200m at the Lee Slick Invite this past Friday. She clocked a 7.69 in the prelims before winning with a final time of 7.77 in the finals.  She came back and won the 200 with a 25.23 on the flat track which converts to 24.85 for her seasons best performance.

In the field, Keeran won the pole vault at the Lee Slick Invite on Friday. Her winning leap of 3.91m is best in the GLVC and currently ranks 15th nationally.

The Flyers are back in action from Feb. 28 - March 1 at the GLVC Indoor Track and Field Championships which will be held in Indianapolis, Ind.
