Indianapolis, Ind. - After another impressive performance at the jump pit, Denise Hernandez (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North HS) collected her third weekly indoor field athlete of the week award this season, the Great Lakes Valley Conference announced this afternoon. 

Hernandez previously won the award for the weeks of Feb. 4 and Jan. 14. Her three weekly awards lead all field athletes this year in the GLVC as well. 

Hernandez was Runner-up at the Fairgrounds Invitational in Indianapolis on Friday night. Her leap of 6.15m is a season-best and is currently first in the GLVC and sixth in the NCAA.

The Flyers are back in action this week across the country with meets in Boston, Michigan and in Illinois.
