2017 NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Bracket

Romeoville, Ill. -
The No. 4 Lewis University women's volleyball team has received the No. 1 seed and will host the upcoming NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament at Neil Carey Arena from November 30th to December 2nd.

The Flyers (31-2) earned their automatic and 12th consecutive bid to the NCAA Tournament, following their thrilling five-set, come-from-behind win over third-seeded Rockhurst (28-7) on Sunday (Nov. 19).

Lewis will take on eighth-seeded Michigan Tech (20-10) on November 30th at a yet-to-be determined time. In their last meeting, the Flyers swept Michigan Tech in the 2016 season opener.

"It will be nice to play on our own court, sleep in our own beds and have our usual routines," Lewis head women's volleyball coach Lorelee Smith said. "Ultimately, we have to prepare ourselves to take on Michigan Tech's best shot and come ready to play on Thursday."

Lewis' streak of 12 consecutive NCAA trips is the longest of all women's volleyball teams in the Midwest Region and longest ever of any Lewis program since the Flyers joined the NCAA Division II ranks in 1981.
