Neal Tyrell (Minooka, Ill./Minooka) and sophomore second baseman
Alex Kiszkowski (Schaumburg, Ill./Schaumburg) each had two hits for the Flyers. Collins and Kiszkowski both scored a run, while Tyrell had a RBI single.
The Flyers also received a two-run single from junior catcher
Trevor Tunison (Rockford, Ill./Rockford Lutheran).
With the win, Northwood improves to 9-4 on the campaign, while the Flyers fall to 0-8 overall.
Lewis starting pitcher
Robert Talarico (Joliet, Ill./Joliet West) took the loss for the Flyers. Talarico (0-2) surrendered five runs - three earned - and four hits in 2.1 innings of work, while fanning two batters.
