ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Lewis men's golf team finished in a tie for eighth with a score of 606 (+30) at the Midwest Regional at Fox Run Golf Club in Eureka, Mo. Par for the course was 72 and the yardage was 6,958 yards.
Hunter Pipik (New Berlin, Wisc./New Berlin West) was the top finisher for the Flyers posting a final round score of 75 to finish the tournament with a score of 149 (74-75) to finish in a tie for 20th.
Braden Bentley (Colorado Springs, Colo./Mesa Ridge) finished in a tie for 28th with a score of 150 (72-78),
Trey Tussey (LaSalle, Ill.) tied for 39th with a two round score of 153 (76-77) while
Jacob Steinert (Pittsboro, N.C.) shot a 154 (76-78) and
Jimmy Roach (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) shot a 164 (86-78).
Lindenwood won the team title with a score of 577 to finish at one over par for the tournament. Missouri-St. Louis's Joel Sylven was the individual medalist with a score of four under par (140).
Lewis returns to the links on Monday, Oct. 22nd as they take part in the McKendree Bearcat Intercollegiate at Far Oaks Golf Club in Caseyville, Ill.
