BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Senior Brock Star (Grandville, Mich./Grandville) won two individual events on Sunday in Lewis' men's swimming dual at Olivet Nazarene on Sunday (Jan. 24) afternoon in Bourbonnais, Ill. Star accounted for two of the Flyers four event wins in the dual. The Tigers won the dual by a score of 135 to 114.

Star picked up his first event win of the dual in the 200 free turning in a performance of 1:46.23. He returned later in the dual to win the 100 free with a time of 48.20 seconds.

Junior Jackson Mugg (Cheyenne, Wyoming/Cheyenne East) picked up the first event win of the dual for Lewis winning the 1,650 free in a time of 16:37.35.

Juniors Filip Bjorkholm (Västerås, Sweden/Widenska) and Michael Roach (New Market, Maryland/Linganore) finished first and second in the 500 free. Bjorkholm turned in a performance of 4:52.21 while Roach turned in a time of 5:12.02.

The Flyers are back in competition on Friday (Jan. 29) hosting Eastern Illinois. The dual starts at 6 p.m. in the Lewis Pool. Friday's meet will be Senior Night with the seniors being recognized prior to the meet.
