Evansville, Ind. - The Lewis University men's and women's swimming team took to the water this Thursday for the third day of the 13th annual GLVC Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.

On the women's side, both
Morgan Vis (Des Plaines, Ill./Maine West) and
Amelia Marsicek (Centennial. Col./Regis Jesuit) placed within the top-20 of the Women 100 Yard Fly, with Morgan coming in 13thwith a 57:25 time, while Amelia finished 20th with a 58:27 time. At the 400 Yard IM,
Wiktoria Cioch-Gradzik (Slaska, Poland/X High School of Sports Championship)Â placed 12th with a final time of 4:37.97. At the 200 Yard Free, the Flyers'
Luna Schafer (Playa Del Carmen, Mexico/The Trents) managed to get a top 10 finish, with a 1:54.00 time.

For the men's,
Davidson Vincent (Thomonde, Haiti/Westlake Preparatory School) came in 12th on the 100 Yard Fly after getting a 48:38 time finish. At the 400 Yard IM, Lewis' highest number position was a finish at 14 by
Eren Yarar (Adana, Turkey/TED Mersin College) who got a 4:00.18 time. To wrap things up on the men's side, Juan Castro's 1:39.70 time got the Flyers their second number 14 finish of the night, this time at the Men 200 Yard Free.Â
