Lewis Women’s Golf Finishes Seventh At Gilda’s Cup Laker Fall Invite

ALLENDALE, Mich. – Lewis University women's golf team finished seventh with a score of 651 at Grand Valley State's Gilda's Cup Laker Fall Invite at The Meadows on Saturday in Allendale, Mich. Par for the course was 72 and the course distance was 5,892 yards.

Kasey Kane (Texarkana, Tex./Texarkana) was the top finisher for the Flyers with a score of 157 (77-80) to tie for 13th overall. Kendall Farm (Carol Stream, Ill./West Chicago) finished in a tie for 30th with a score of 164 (81-83), Sarah Breslin (Du Quoin, Ill./Pinckneyville) and Caiya Dewitt (Zeeland, Mich./West Ottawa) were tied for 32nd with a score of 165. Breslin shot an 80 in the first round and an 85 in the second round while Dewitt shot 82 in the opening round and 83 in the final round. Morgan McNulty (Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere) shot a 169 (84-85) to finish in a tie for 45th. Molly St. Clair (Evansville, Ind./Evansville Central), competing as an individual, finished with a score of 173 (86-87) to tie for 53rd.

Lewis is back on the course on Sunday as it takes part in the Ferris State Lady Bulldog Invitational at Katke Golf Club in Big Rapids, Mich.
