ROMEOVILLE, Ill. -- The No. 2 seed Lewis University men's soccer team will travel to Maryville University for the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Semifinals to take on No. 3 seed University of Indianapolis Friday at 11 a.m. CT. 

The Flyers currently have a 10-4-2 record this season which made them finish second in the conference. Lewis is led by Cristian Perez (Cicero, Ill./Morton East), who has scored eight goals and helped on another one in 2022.

These two teams met back at Lewis on Sunday, September 25 with Lewis being victorious 1-0. Perez had the game winning goal in the 14th minute to lead Lewis to victory.

Indianapolis currently owns a 10-3-3 record this season. The Greyhounds were led by Ibo Yilmaz, who has scored nine goals and assisted another one in 16 matches this season.
