GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Lewis University's women's golf team finished second at the Saginaw Valley State Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday at Cherry Blossoms Golf Club in Georgetown, Ky. The Flyers finished with a team score of 635 and had three players finish in the top 20 of the event.
Par for the course was 72 and the yardage was 5985 yards.
Kasey Kane (Texarkana, Tex./Texarkana) paced Lewis as she finished third overall with a two-round score of 151 (74-77). 
Kendall Farm (Carol Stream, Ill./West Chicago) shot a 154 (77-77) to finish in a tie for fifth while 
Caiya Dewitt (Zeeland, Mich./West Ottawa) finished in a tie for 18th with a two-day total of 160 (84-76). 
Morgan McNulty (Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere) shot a 173 (88-85) and 
Molly St. Clair (Evansville, Ind./Evansville Central) had a two-round score of 174 (85-89).
The Flyers return to the links on Monday (April 4) as they travel to Nashville to take part in the Music City Invitational hosted by Trevecca Nazarene.
