ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Lewis University's women's track and field team wrapped up its trip to Southern California with five top 25 finishes at The Beach Invitational on Saturday in Long Beach, Calif.
Jada Hoffman (Chicago, Ill./Kenwood Academy) finished seventh in the 100 meters with a time of 11.81 seconds and was 20th in the 200 meters at 24.60 seconds.
Jaden Christian (Braidwood, Ill./Braidwood (Reed-Custer)) took 12th in the long jump with a leap of 5.74 meters (18'10") and was 16th in the triple jump at 11.90 meters (39'0.5").
Nadia Roberts (Burbank, Ill./Burbank (Reavis)) finished 22nd in the high jump clearing the bar at a height of 1.61 meters (5'3.25").
Arianna Amill-Ramos (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook) ran a personal best time of 4:46.55 in the 1500 on Friday evening at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
The Flyers return to the track next Saturday as they'll compete in the Olivet Nazarene Tiger Open in Bourbonnais, Ill., starting at 10 a.m.
