ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – Lewis University's women's golf team won the Music City Invitational with a team score of 610 on Monday and Tuesday at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn. It's the third event win of the season for the Flyers as they also won the Southern Indiana tournament their own tournament this past fall.
Kasey Kane (Texarkana, Tex./Texarkana) shot a two-under, 142 (70-72) over the two-day event and won individualist medal honors by six shots over teammate
Kendall Farm (Carol Stream, Ill./West Chicago) who finished with a score of 148 (78-70). Farm was six over after her first round but rebounded on Tuesday to finish her round at two under par.
Caiya Dewitt (Zeeland, Mich./West Ottawa) was third overall with a total score of 151 (74-77).
Molly St. Clair (Evansville, Ind./Evansville Central) shot a 171 (86-85) to finish in a tie for 27th while
Morgan McNulty (Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere) fired a 179 (96-83) to finish in a tie for 35th.
Lewis returns to the links next Monday and Tuesday as they travel to Quincy, Ill., to compete in the Hawks Invitational at the Quincy Country Club.
