KANSAS CITY – Lewis University's women's golf team wrapped up its 2021-22 season on Wednesday with a 13th place finish at the NCAA East Regional at Shoal Creek Golf Club in Kansas City. The Flyers finished with a three round total score of 980 (332-323-325). The course was a par-71 and played at 5,865 yards.
Caiya Dewitt (Zeeland, Mich./West Ottawa) finished her round strong as she a shot a 34 (-2) on the back nine to finish with a 75 (+4). She had birdies on the par-4 sixth hole and on the par-5 ninth hole. Dewitt also had a birdie on the par-5 13th hole. She finished in a tie for 33rd overall with total score of 237 (+24).
Kendall Farm (Carol Stream, Ill./West Chicago) shot a final round score of 80 to finish in a tie for 45th with a total score of 243 (84-79-80).
Kasey Kane (Texarkana, Tex./Texarkana) shot an 83 in her final round and had a birdie on the par-4 fourth hole. She finished the tournament in a tie for 37th with a total score of 240 (79-78-83).
Morgan McNulty (Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere) and
Molly St. Clair (Evansville, Ind./Evansville Central) each shot an 87 in their rounds. McNulty birdied the par-4 eighth hole while McNulty had a birdie at the par-4 sixth hole. They each finished with scored of 263 for the tournament. McNulty's final line was 84-92-87 while St. Clair shot an 87-89-87.
Findlay won the team title with a three-day total of 873 (+21) and Findlay's Mary Kelly Mulchay was the individual medalist with a final score of 214 (+1). Findlay, the University of Indianapolis, Tiffin, Grand Valley State and Missouri-St. Louis all qualified for the NCAA Championships next week in Georgia.
