ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Lewis University men's cross country team placed second at the NCAA Midwest Regional Saturday (Nov. 9) with 71 total points. The top three teams earn automatic berths to the NCAA Division II Championships, which takes place Nov. 23 at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, Calif.
Grand Valley State won the meet with 40 points, while Michigan Tech placed third with 141. Sophomore
Evan Horgan (Loves Park, Ill./Belvidere North) was crowned NCAA men's midwest regional champion after placing first overall.
