Romeoville, Ill. – The Lewis University men's cross country team delivered a strong showing on their home course at the Lewis Crossover on Saturday, October 11th, finishing seventh out of 37 teams in a deep and competitive field. 

Junior Evan Horgan (Loves Park, Ill./Belvidere North) led the Flyers with a standout 21st-place finish in 24:28.82. Senior Zack Dunn (Merrilville, Ind./Merrilville) and junior Gabriel Cates (Purcellville, Vir./Loudoun Valley) followed closely with time of 24:52.26 and 24:58.98, respectively. Junior Jack Roberts (Frankfort, Ill./Lincolnway East) clocked 25:09.64, while senior Owen Thomas (Valparaiso, IN/Morgan Township) rounded out the scoring lineup in 25:16.06.
