INDIANAPOLIS – Both Lewis University and Maryville University were voted in the preseason coaches' poll as the choices to win the 2025 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) men's lacrosse championship, the league office announced on Wednesday (Feb. 5).
The preseason poll is selected by the league's head coaches, who, per GLVC Bylaws, are not permitted to vote for their own team.
T-No. 1 Lewis
- Received three first-place vote and 23 total points.
- Ranked No. 13 in United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Preseason Poll.
- Earned No. 1 seed and won the GLVC Championship last year.
- Qualified for the NCAA Tournament as the No. 4 seed and lost in the quarterfinals to No. 1 Tampa.
- Coached by reigning GLVC Coach of the Year Joe Perruzzi, who enters his sixth year after a 14-5 overall and 5-1 GLVC record in 2024.
- Return GLVC Specialist of the Year, Domenic Tarello (Libertyville, Illinois/Libertyville HS), First Team All-GLVC honoree Tyler Davis (Edina, Minnesota/Edina HS), Second Team member Mark Crowley (Crystal Lake, Illinois/Crystal Lake Central HS), and Honorable Mentions Nolan Dalep (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada/Claremont Secondary School) and Logan Suchy (Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota/Simley HS).
