LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced its 2025 NFCA NCAA Division II Pitcher of the Year watchlist as Lewis senior Delaney Garden (Carpentersville, IL/Harry D. Jacobs High School) was revealed as one of the pitchers to watch for. 

Garden currently owns a 12-5 record in the circle with a 1.30 ERA. She has thrown 14 complete games in her 15 starts while tossing 102.1 innings total. 

The two-way player has only issued 13 walks and has struck out 134 batters. Despite these impressive pitching stats
and her status as a pitcher to watch, Garden is also hitting .471 at the plate, 56 total hits, 40 runs scored, six doubles and four triples. 

Lewis is back in action Friday, March 28 as the Flyers take on Drury for a doubleheader starting at 1:30 p.m. CT.
