INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Lewis University men's lacrosse team had 13 players earn spots on the All-Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) team, the GLVC announced Wednesday (April 30). Three made the first team, two are on second team and eight made were named honorable mention.
Domenic Tarello (Libertyville, Illinois/Libertyville HS) also repeated as GLVC Specialist of the Year.
Per GLVC bylaws, the postseason All-GLVC teams are voted on by the league's six head coaches and they are not allowed to vote for their own players.
Tyler Davis (Edina, Minnesota/Edina HS),
Luke Schroeder (Plymouth, Minnesota/Totino-Grace HS) and Tarello all made First Team All-GLVC.
Malikye Good (Windsor, Ontario, Canada/St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic HS),
Joe Janda (Livonia, Michigan/St. Mary's Preparatory HS) made the second teamm while
Nolan Dalep (Victoria, British Columbia, Canada/Claremont Secondary School),
Caden Donahue (Hugo, Minnesota/Mahtomedi HS),
Xan Hayes (Leonardtown, Maryland/Leonardtown HS),
Henri Marindin (White Hall, Maryland/The John Carroll School),
Michael Metheny (Fishers, Indiana/Hamilton Southeastern HS),
Paul Ruskoski (Tulsa, Oklahoma/Bishop Kelley HS),
Logan Suchy (Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota/Simley HS) and
Michael Trbovich (Columbus, Ohio/Dublin Coffman HS) were awarded honorable mention.
Tarello earned his second consecutive GLVC Specialist of the Year award. The senior led the conference with 75 groundballs and face-off wins (149), while ranking second in face-off percentage at 65.9 percent.
The face-off specialist was also named All-GLVC First Team for the second consecutive season. Tarello added five goals, three caused turnovers and two assists. Tarello was named GLVC Defensive Player of the Week three times during the season.
Davis has played and started in all 15 contests for Lewis so far this season. He has recorded 44 groundballs and 22 caused turnovers.
Schroeder has played in 14 matches, with 13 starts this year. Schroeder has recorded 24 goals, while assisting on 10 others.
Good has played in every contest during the season, starting in 14 matches. Good ranks second in the GLVC in goals scored (43) and assists (25) and first in points (68). The sophomore was a three-time GLVC Offensive Player of the Week honoree.
Janda has seen action every match this year and has made 14 starts. He picked up 28 groundballs and caused 12 turnovers.
Dalep has played in every game for the Flyers this season, recording eight goals and assisting on 10 others. The graduate student also recorded four groundballs.
Donahue has started in goal for every match in 2025 for Lewis. The sophomore recorded 148 saves with a 56.9 save percentage and allowed 112 goals out of 425 shots faced.
Hayes played in all 15 matches so far for the Flyers. Hayes recorded 24 goals, assisting on 13 others. The graduate transfer also picked up 18 groundballs to go along with seven caused turnovers. Hayes was awarded GLVC Offensive Player of the Week for the week of February 24.
Marindin has started every contest for the Flyers so far in 2025. On the defensive side of the ball, Marindin has collected 19 groundballs and caused six turnovers.
Metheny has seen the field in all 15 matches with 14 starts. The redshirt sophomore has recorded nine goals and 16 assists and has picked up seven groundballs.
Ruskoski ranks second on the team and fourth in the GLVC with 32 goals scored and is in sixth in points (41). The attacker has participated in all 15 contests so far this season.
Suchy has appeared in all 15 contests, scoring three goals and dishing out three assists. The junior has collected 55 groundballs, which ranks third in the GLVC, while causing 26 turnovers, good for second in the conference.
Trbovich has participated in 14 out of the 15 matches for Lewis so far this year. He has collected 19 groundballs and recorded six caused turnovers.
Dylan Hines (San Diego, California/Poway HS) was the Lewis GLVC Men's Lacrosse James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award team recipient.
