Romeoville, Ill. - Ahead of his first season at the helm of the Lewis men's and women's swimming programs, head coach
Ian Disteldorf announced the recruitng classes for both teams.
Johanna Coates - Coates joins the Flyers after a decorated national team career for Zambia where she was the captain of the Zambian National Women's Swimming Team. She holds the national records in 200 LCM and SCM breaststroke. Coates plans on studying exercise science at the university.
Attiana Schmidt - Schmidt joins Lewis after completing her prep career at Andrew High School where she was a three-year varsity athlete in swimming and water polo. The Oak Forest, Ill., native plans on studying to be a dental hygienist.
Eren Yarar - A native of Adana, Turkey, Yarar has competed in multiple national meets across various events, primarily in the 200 and 400 IM. Yarar pans on majoring in aviation administration at Lewis.
Soma Bota-Depinyi - A native of Hungary, Depinyi has raced in national events such as the CXXVII Hungarian Swimming Championships both as an individual and relay member. He plans on majoring in aviation while at Lewis.
Pablo Salano - He is a member of the Dominican Republic National Youth Men's Swim Team and was apart of the relay team that holds the national record for the 4x100 medley relay. He plans on majoring in aviation technology.
Andres Bodington - A transfer from Mars Hill University, Bodington specialized in distance events while with the Lions. At the 2025 SAC Men's Swimming Championships, he placed third overall in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 9:20.41. The Caracas, Venezuela, native has represented the Venezuelan national swim team as well and plans on majoring in computer science.
Sebastian Labuda – Labuda specialized in the 200 fly and 400 IM in high school. The Romeoville, Ill., native plans to major in computer science
Alex Boller - The Williamsburg, Va., native has received Senior Champ cuts, ISCA cuts, Sectionals cuts, Future cuts and NCSA cuts. He plans on majoring in aviation at the university.
Jermaine Bolden - Was a four-year letterwinner in water polo and swimming at Christian Brothers College High School in St. Louis. Earned third team all-conference accolades as a senior in water polo.
