MADISON, Ill. - The Lewis University men's golf team opened its season with a third-place finish at the Arch Cup, hosted by the University of Missouri-St. Louis at Gateway National Golf Links Tuesday (Sept. 2). Lewis freshman
Gabriel Delaval (Marcq-en-Baroeul, France) placed third individually.
Dulaval recorded rounds of 70 and 69 on the par-71 course to finish with a 139 total (-3). UMSL's Daniel Solavera won the tournament with a 136 total, while Ellton Bostrom of Drury was second with a 138. The Tritons also won the team event, shooting a 562 total. Drury placed second with a 574, while Lewis had a 581 to place third.
