Joliet, Ill. - Select members of the Lewis University men's and women's track & field programs competed at the St. Francis Last Chance Invite from May 8-9 in the final meet of the year for the Flyers before the NCAA Championships.
HOW IT HAPPENED
At the high jump,
Abraham Christian (Huntley, Ill./Huntley HS) won the event and set an NCAA provisional mark with a final height of 2.12 meters.
In the throwing circle,
Levi Graham (Plainfield, Ill./Minooka) and
Ben Saucedo (/) each set NCAA provisional marks while finishing first and second respectively in the hammer throw. Graham had a meet-best toss of 63.55 meters while Saucedo finished with a throw of 58.04 meters.
On the track,
Janellisa Oceguera (Joliet, Ill./Joliet West) set a new personal-best in the 800 meters with a final time of 2:12.89.
