ROMEOVILLE, Ill. — Lewis University head men's and women's track and field coach
Dana Schwarting announced the Flyers' 2026-27 indoor track and field schedule, featuring 13 meets, including the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships and NCAA Division II Indoor Championships.
Lewis will open the indoor season at home, hosting the Lewis Holiday Hept/Pent on December 4-5 in Romeoville. The Flyers will also compete at the Blue-Gold Invitational in South Bend, Indiana (Dec. 4), before traveling to Allendale, Michigan, for the GVSU Early Bird (Dec. 11).
After a break in competition, Lewis returns to action in January at the Hoosier Horsepower Classic in Indianapolis, Indiana, January 15-16. The Flyers will then travel to South Bend for the Notre Dame Invitational on January 23.
Lewis will continue its indoor campaign with the Meyo Invitational in South Bend (Jan. 29 - Jan. 30) and the Windy City Rumble in Chicago (Jan. 30).
The Flyers will enter a busy stretch in February, beginning with the Fairgrounds Invitational in Indianapolis on February 5-6. Lewis will then compete at the GVSU Big Meet in Allendale and the Chicagoland Championships in Naperville (Feb. 12-13). The Flyers will return to Naperville for the Lee Slick Invite on February 19.
Lewis will close out the championship portion of its indoor season at the GLVC Championships, scheduled for February 27-28 in Indianapolis. The Flyers will then turn their attention to the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, set for March 12-13 in Birmingham, Alabama.
