2012 Highlights: Recipient of Lewis' Delahanty Award for academic excellence among student athletes and Academic All-GLVC selection...made seven relif appearances...threw a scoreless inning with two strikeouts in game one at Kentucky Wesleyan (April 14)...tossed a scoreless frame with a strikeout vs. Grand Valley State (March 8).

2011 Highlights: Recipient of Lewis' Delahanty Award for academic excellence among student athletes and Academic All-GLVC selection...made three relief appearances...recorded a strikeout in an inning at Christian Brothers (March 13) and vs. Southern Indiana (April 17).

2010 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC selection and a recipient of Lewis' Delahanty Award for academic excellence among student athletes...redshirted due to injury.

2009 Highlights: Pitched in 14 games with starts...earned first career victory at Saint Francis, allowing three unearned runs on five hits and a walk in 4.2 innings of work (April 9)...allowed one earned run and four hits in 5.0 innings vs. Bellarmine (March 22)...struckout the only batter he faced vs. Winona State (March 14)...pitched a perfect inning of relief at Upper Iowa (March 25)...allowed no runs in .1 of an inning vs. UW-Parkside (May 2) and vs. Winona State (March 15).

Prep/Personal: Earned two varsity letters for Lyons Township High School... as a senior, won Lyons Township's varsity baseball James Derrill Stevenson Memorial Award...went 3-0 with a 2.96 era and an opposing batting average of .222...helped team to a conference championship during sophomore season...academic all-conference...four year member of the honor roll...Babe Ruth league state champion in 2005...son of Donald and Cynthia Cizek...sport management major.
