2012 Highlights: Recipient of Lewis' Delahanty Award for academic excellence among student athletes...made 16 appearances on the mound with four starts...picked up first collegiate victory in first collegiate start thanks to allowing just three hits and no walks or runs with three stirkeouts vs. Maryville (March 6)...earned the win thanks to an inning of no-run relief in game two vs. Saint Joseph's (March 31)...didn't allow a run in two innings in game one at UIS (March 21)...threw three-shut out innings vs. St. Francis with two strikeouts (April 24)...threw two perfect innings with two strikeouts in game two vs. Upper Iowa (March 28)...threw a perfect inning of relief vs. Saint Xavier (April 12).

2011 Highlights: Delahanty Award recipient...made 10 relief appearances...threw two scoreless innings with two strikeouts vs. Southern Indiana (April 17)...threw a scoreless inning of vs. Concordia (Feb. 27), vs. Grand Valley State (March 3), at Christian Brothers (March 13), vs. Indianapolis (April 3), vs. Southern Indiana (April 18) and at UW-Parkside (May 10).

Prep/Personal: Member of the Great Lakes Team for the 2009 USA Baseball National Team Identification Series...selected to the 2010 Under Armour Preseason All-America team...six years of experience with the Orland Park Magic and Illinois Sparks 18's...played in the World Wood Bat Association in Jupiter, Fla....as a senior at Andrew High School, named to Southtown Star all-area team, all-conference and team MVP while recording a 2.29 ERA in 70.0 innings pitched...as a junior, had a 2.93 earned run average in 28.2 innings...averaging better than a strikeout per inning with 29...son of Tom Durkin and Theresa Hart...athletic training major.
