David Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...earned a pair of wins in a 6-3 victory over Bellarmine (Apr. 16) with triumphs over Paul Clark (7-5, 6-3) at No. 2 singles and paired up with Lapimaa to edge Jacob Knagenhjelm and Nate Matthews (9-8)...took home two wins in an 8-1 win over Quincy (Apr. 11), defeating Baxter Grace (6-1, 6-1) at No. 2 singles and teamed up with Lapimaa for the 8-0 whitewash of Rodrigo and Alonso Marroquin...won his only match at No. 1 singles with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Brescia's Julein Chenneberg and added an 8-3 with Lapimaa over Chenneberg and Thiago Mastroianni in an 8-1 victory on April 10th...claimed two wins in a 7-2 win over Indianapolis (Apr. 3) with a 6-1, 6-1 singles triumph over Alex Poe and an 8-2 victory with Lapimaa over David Schoch and Jeff Price at No. 1 doubles...took home two wins in a 5-4 triumph over UMSL (Apr. 2) with a 6-4, 6-3 singles victory over Daniel Anthony and an 8-4 win with Lapimaa over Anthony and Andreas Hammar...captured a pair of victories in a 9-0 blanking of Maryville (Apr. 1) with a singles triumph over Ryan Williams (6-0, 6-0) and an 8-1 win with Lapimaa over Williams and Jonas Skold...rolled to two wins in a 9-0 whitewash over Saint Joseph's (March 27) with a 6-2, 6-0 singles victory over Miguel Belcina and an 8-4 triumph with Lapimaa over Belcina and Ishan Gohil...earned two wins in an 8-1 triumph over UIS (March 23) with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Josh Patrick and an 8-3 win with Lapimaa over Patrick and Punsisi Dayaratne...claimed a pair of victories against Division I Western Illinois' Francisco Ortiz (6-0, 3-6, 6-3) at No. 2 singles and an 8-2 win with Lapimaa over Ortiz and James McGuire in a 5-2 win on March 21st...won two matches in a 6-3 win over Grand Valley State (Feb. 21) with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Marc Roesslein and teamed with Lapimaa for the 8-2 victory over Roesslein and Tony Dang...took home two wins in a 7-2 win over Lake Superior State (Feb. 13) with victories over Sergiu Laza (7-6 (7-5), 6-4) and an 8-6 win with Michael Wojnarowski over Brandon Clayton and Robert Nelson...captured two wins in a 6-3 victory over St. Francis (Ill.) with the 6-4, 6-7, 10-4 triumph over Jakub Szymanski at No. 2 singles and an 8-3 win with Wojnarowski over Szymanski and Jacob Quigley at No. 2 doubles...won a pair of matches at the Upper Iowa Challenge to claim the No. 2 singles flight title...teamed up with Jesse Hardacre to win the No. 2 doubles flight title at Upper Iowa with wins over Minnesota State-Mankato (8-2), Sioux Falls (8-5) and Nebraska-Kearney (8-2)...picked up a pair of wins at the Wilson ITA/Great Lakes Regional Championship over Southern Indiana's Ben Roeser (6-3, 6-4) and Michigan Tech's Douglas Yossida (6-4, 5-7, 6-3).
2008-09 Highlights: Named to both the All-GLVC Men's Tennis and Academic All-GLVC squads...finished the season ranked eighth in the ITA Midwest Region in singles play and seventh in doubles with teammate Uno Lapimaa...recipient of the Delahanty Award, given to student-athletes for academic excellence...went 23-9 in singles action, primarily at No. 2, and teamed up with Uno Lapimaa at No. 1 doubles to finish 21-10 overall in doubles play...went 8-1 in No. 2 singles action during GLVC play, with his only loss coming to Drury's nationally-ranked Nahom Serekeberhan...won 11 of his last 13 singles matches of the season with his only losses coming to Serekeberhan...defeated Rockhurst's regionally ranked Arturo Baravalle (No. 12), 6-3, 6-2 on April 10th...paired up with Lapimaa for the 8-5 win over Rockhurst[apos]s regionally ranked Zach and Ben Newell...won the 'White' flight singles title and teamed with Lapimaa to win the 'Red' flight doubles title at the Flyer Fall Classic (Oct. 11)...went 2-1 to earn a runner-up finish in the 'B' flight singles draw at the Upper Iowa Challenge...won two matches at the ITA Midwest Regional (Sept. 27)...placed fifth in the 'B' flight singles draw and teamed with Lapimaa to finish third in 'A' flight doubles action at the Art Peterson Invitational (Oct. 4), hosted by Western Illinois.
2007-08 Highlights: Recipient of the Delahanty Award, for academic excellence among student-athletes...made the Dean[apos]s list...used season as redshirt campaign and will retain four years of eligibility.
Prep/Personal: Competed in many international ETA and ITF junior level tournaments, including the U16 Burger King Orange Bowl...son of Tiia and Andrus Irdoja...majoring in finance.
