2009-10 Highlights: Finished the season 19-11 in singles action and a combined 21-12 in doubles play...Academic All-GLVC selection and Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...won a pair of matches in a 7-2 victory over Northern Kentucky (Apr. 17) with the 6-4, 6-3 win over Tyler Fraser at No. 4 singles and paired with Jesse Hardacre at No. 2 doubles for the 8-1 triumph over Fraser and Ricardo Weaver...earned two wins in a 6-3 triumph over Bellarmine (Apr. 16) with a 7-6, 6-4 defeat of Tyler Worley at No. 4 singles and an 8-6 win with Hardacre over Worley and Paul Clark...took home two victories in an 8-1 win over Quincy (Apr. 11) with a 6-0, 6-0 whitewash of John Irish at No. 4 singles and an 8-2 win with Hardacre over Jeff Terry and Baxter Grace...picked up a pair of wins in an 8-1 win over Brescia (Apr. 10) with a victory at No. 5 singles over Jacob Blevins (6-2, 6-3) and teamed with Hardacre at No. 2 doubles for the 8-5 win over Barrett Smith and Jan Dombrowski...claimed two wins in a 7-2 victory over Indianapolis (Apr. 9) with the 6-3, 6-2 triumph over Werner Henning at No. 5 singles and paired with Michael Wojnarowski at No. 2 doubles for the 9-7 defeat of Henning and Alex Poe...claimed two wins in a 9-0 whitewash of Maryville (Apr. 1) with a 6-0, 6-0 blanking of Patrick Kroener at No. 5 singles and an 8-0 victory with Wojnarowski over Kroener and Kevin Rader at No. 2 doubles...earned two wins in a 9-0 victory over Saint Joseph[apos]s (March 27) with the 6-2, 6-0 triumph over Matt Slawson at No. 5 singles and teamed with Wojnarowski for the 8-2 win over Slawson and Roger Michels at No. 2 doubles...picked up two wins in the 8-1 victory over UIS (March 23) with the 6-2, 6-0 defeat of Sharma Kumar at No. 5 singles and paired with Wojnarowski for the 8-4 win over Mathew and Connor McGowan at No. 2 doubles...earned a pair of victories in a 5-2 win over Division I Western Illinois with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Jim Capalbo at No. 5 singles and an 8-2 triumph with Wojnarowski over Mandela Shepard and Jeff Cote at No. 2 doubles...claimed two wins in a 6-3 victory over Grand Valley State (Feb. 21) with the 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 come-from-behind defeat of Jeff Globerson at No. 5 singles and paired with Wojnarowski for the 9-8 win over Brock Plangger and Philipp Claus at No. 2 doubles...propelled Lewis to the 7-2 win over Lake Superior State (Feb. 13) with victories over Pawel Wegrzyn (6-4. 6-4) at No. 3 singles and an 8-5 win with Uno Lapimaa over Sergui Laza and Razvan Mag at No. 1 doubles...took home a pair of wins in a 6-3 victory over St. Francis (Feb. 9) with the 6-4, 6-0 victory over Luis Oliveira at No. 3 singles and the 8-6 triumph with Lapimaa over Oliveira and Scott Surges at No. 1 doubles...went undefeated at the Upper Iowa Challenge (Sept. 13) to claim the No. 3 singles flight title with wins over Minnesota State-Mankato's Adam Doll (6-1, 6-1), Sioux Falls' Borian Jaksic (6-2, 6-1) and Nebraska-Kearney's John Steinke (6-4, 6-3)...he and Tonis Irdoja took home the doubles flight title at the same event with wins over St. Francis (Ill.) (8-2) and Minnesota State-Mankato (8-2)...paired up with Irdoja to advance to the Wilson/ITA Great Lakes Regional Championship doubles semifinals following wins over Ferris State (8-5), Michigan Tech (8-3) and Grand Valley State (8-2) on Sept. 25...same duo finished second at the Lewis Flyer Classic (Oct. 10) following wins over Grand Valley State (8-6) and Western Illinois (8-5).
2008-09 Highlights: Did not compete for the Flyers.
Prior To Lewis: Competed for Missouri Valley College during the Fall '08 semester at both No. 1 singles and doubles.
Prep/Personal: Attended Humboldtschule High School in Bad Homburg, Germany...competed for both TC Oberursel, Kirdorfer TC and Sportwelt Rosbach...son of Andrea Wiemers-Pestinger and Gunther Pestinger...major is marketing and business administration.
