2008-09 Highlights: Turned in three top-10 finishes during the cross country campaign...named to the All-GLVC Cross Country team following her 8th place finish of 22:29.43 at the GLVC Championships (Oct. 25)...finished fourth overall at the Bradley Open (Sept. 12)...was ninth at the Elmhurst Earlybird Invite (Aug. 29) with a time of 15:32...did not compete during the track and field seasons.
2007-08 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC...finished third in the 3,000-meter run (10:58.37) at the Dick Pond Open (Feb. 22)...was Lewis[apos] No. 5 runner at the Illinois Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships (Sept. 14) with a mark of 21:30.69...was the fourth Flyer to cross the finish line at the Roy Griak Invitational (Sept. 29) with a time of 26:49...was the fifth-fastest Flyer at the GLVC Cross Country Championships (Oct. 20) with a time of 25:36.90...finished fourth among Lewis runners at the Great Lakes Regional (Nov. 3) with a time of 24:18.60.
2006-07 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC, recipient of Lewis[apos] Delahanty Award for academic excellence among student athletes and a Deans[apos] List student both semesters...was third in the 5,000-meter run (19:02.97) at the Eagle Invitational (Apr. 21)...won the 3,000-meter run (10:49.72) at North Central[apos]s Old Fashioned Meet (Apr. 25).
2005-06 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC and Delahanty Award recipient.
2004-05 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC, Delahanty Award recipient and a Deans[apos] List student both semesters...won the 3,000-meter run at the Lewis Invitational (Feb. 12)...third in the 5000-meter run at the Chicagoland Indoor Championships (Feb. 18)...led the cross country team at the Northern Kentucky Classic (fourth among 33), the Stegemoller Classic (31st among 147) and the Border War Invitational (54th among 254).
Prep/Personal: Lettered two years in track and field...was all-conference in the 3,200 meters and team captain as a senior ... earned three varsity letters in cross country...all-conference, team[apos]s Most Valuable Runner and team captain as a senior...team[apos]s Most Improved Runner her junior year...as a sophomore, was all-conference and recipient of Andrew[apos]s Sportsmanship Award... also competed in basketball and softball...earned second academic honors...daughter of Jim and Ann Herbert...athletic training major.
