2012 Highlights: Did not compete during the outdoor season...participated in two indoor meets...named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2011 Highlights: Br. David Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...set a personal-record in the 1,500-meter run (5:31.26) at the Gina Relays (Apr. 28)...did not compete during the indoor season.

2010 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...finished second overall in the 1-mile run (5:29.64) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Jan. 16)...earned a runner-up time of 10:34.33 in the 3,000-meter run at the Illinois Intercollegiates (Jan. 30). ..won the 5,000-meter run (18:29.68) at the Division II Challenge (Feb. 6).

Prior to Lewis: Competed for Shawnee State for one season...qualified for the National Championships, both as an individual and as a member of the team.

Prep/Personal: Two-time track and field MVP and team captain for Teays Valley...was a regional qualifier in the 3,200-meter run...selected as cross country team MVP as a senior...qualified for the cross country regionals...winner of the U.S. Marine Corp Female Athlete of the Year...helped Teays Valley to a pair of Conference Track and Field championships as a sophomore and junior...four-year member of the honor roll...member of the National Honor Society...daughter of Deanna Kurzydlo...major is sports management.
