2012 Highlights: Named to USTFCCCA Indoor All-Midwest Region Team in the 60-meter dash (7.69)...selected to All-GLVC Indoor and Outdoor First Teams...set a NCAA Provisional mark in a first-place finish in the 55-meter dash (7.22) at the Dick Pond Open (Jan. 13)...earned two second-place finishes in the 55-meter dash (7.3) and 200-meter dash (26.49) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Jan. 20)...claimed two victories in both the 55-meter dash (7.23) and 55-meter hurdles (8.79) at the Bob Keck Invitational (Feb. 4)...won three events at the Chicagoland Championships (Feb. 10) including a NCAA provisional time n the 60-meter dash (7.73) as well as titles in the 200-meter dash (25.6) and a leg in the 4x200 relay (1:42.93) on her way to GLVC Track Athlete of the Week accolades for the period ending Feb. 12th....ran a leg of the runner-up 4x400 relay (4:01.01) at the Cardinal Classic (Feb. 17)...set a NCAA Provisional mark in the 55-meter dash (7.16) and ran a leg of the runner-up 4x200 relay (1:44.23) at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 24)...named the GLVC Indoor Freshman of the Year after winning the 55-meter dash with a NCAA Provisional mark of 7.16 and finishing second in the 200-meter dash with another provisional time of 25.5; and running a leg of the first-place 4x400 relay (3:57.13) at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 25)...ran a leg of the first-place 4x100 relay (47.61) at the Wash U Invitational (March 31)...was a member of the second-place 4x100 relay (49.02) at the Chicagoland Championships (Apr. 6)...finished second in the 100-meter dash (12.42) at the Hillsdale College Invitational (Apr. 14)...earned a runner-up finish of 12.38 in the 100-meter dash and ran a leg of the second-place 4x100 relay (47.42) at the GLVC Outdoor Championships (May 5).

Prep/Personal: Named MVP of Prince Georges County as a senior after winning both 55-meter and 300-meter dash at Indoor Championships...ran a leg of the first-place 4x400 relay at the Penn Relays as a junior and senior...was a member of the national runner-up 4x200 relay as a senior...daughter of Robert and Andrea Mercer...major is air traffic control.
