2012 Highlights: Finished second overall in the pole vault (3.65m) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Jan. 20)...set a season-best indoor pole vault of 3.70 meters at the Dick Pond Open (Jan. 13)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

Prep/Personal: Placed fourth overall in the pole vault at the Southwest Prairie Conference Championships as a senior...earned a career-best mark of 12'9" in the pole vault as a senior...placed third in the pole vault at the Hunt Invitational as a junior...named to the All-Southwest Prairie Conference Junior Varsity Team following his fourth-place finish in the pole vault as a sophomore...turned in personal-best times of 11.9 (100-meter dash) and 23.4 (200-meter dash) as a junior...member of the WALC (Wildcat Athletic Leadership Club)...was in top 10% of his class and a member of the high honor roll all four years...competed for the Cardinal Pole Vault Club in 2009...son of Fernando and Evangeline Ba-ad...major is nursing.
