2008-09 Highlights: Named to Academic All-GLVC squad...earned a runner-up mark in the weight throw (50[apos]10 1/4[quote]) at the Titan Open (Jan. 31)...won the weight throw (51[apos]4 3/4[quote]) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Feb. 21). 2007-08 Highlights: Named to the All-GLVC Indoor Track and Field Second Team...finished second in the weight throw (45[apos]5 1/4[quote]) at the Titan Open (Feb. 2)...captured a third-place finish in the weight throw (47[apos]4 3/4[quote]) at the Dick Pond Open (Feb. 22)...was third in the shot put (38[apos]4[quote]) at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Mar. 1)...earned the shot put (36[apos]8 1/4[quote]) and discus (125[apos]5[quote]) titles at the Cougar Invitational (Apr. 25). 2006-07 Highlights: A spring Deans[apos] List student...came in second in the shot put (35[apos]1 ¼[quote]) and third in the weight throw (43-11 ¾) at the Dick Pond Open (Jan. 13)...set indoor season best and finished second in the weight throw (47[apos]5[quote]) at the Chicagoland Indoor Championships (Feb. 16)...won the hammer throw (127[apos]9[quote]) at the Austin Peay Invitational (Apr. 7). 2005-06 Highlights: Competed in six outdoor meets and six indoor meets. Prep/Personal: Earned one varsity letter...placed in the top five twice in the conference championships in the shot put...two-time Player of the Week...also lettered one year each in tennis and basketball, and participated in softball... National Honor Society member and honor roll student...daughter of Jim and Debbie Quintana...social work and human services major.
