2015-16 Highlights: Finished first in the 50 freestyle (21.74) in a meet with Truman State and Lake Forest (Oct. 31)…won the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.88 at Findlay (Nov. 14)…places first in the 50 free (21.77) vs. Indianapolis (Jan. 23).

2014-15 Highlights:  Earned first in a meet with UMSL, Lindenwood and Maryville (Oct. 18) in the 200 freestyle medley (1:25.12) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:25.12) … grabbed third vs. Grand Valley State (Nov. 1) in the 200 freestyle relay (1:28.58)… notched first vs. Lake Forest and Truman State (Nov. 8) in the 400 medley relay (3:34.10)…swam second at IUPUI’s House of Champions and grabbed a school record (Feb. 11-14) in the 200 freestyle (1:21.78) … placed first at William Jewell (Dec. 17-18) in the 400 medley relay (4:00.98) and second in the 50 freestyle (24.26)…notched first vs. Olivet (Jan. 10) and a pool record in the 400 freestyle relay (3:08.03).

Prior to Lewis: Helped Golden West Community College win two state championships…team captain as a senior.

Prep/Personal: Earned four varsity letters in swimming at Vintage High School…as a senior and a junior, named team MVP and won the 50 and 100 freestyle Monticello Empire League Championships…squad won the league championship as a sophomore…swam for two years with the Monticello Aquatic Club Seals Swim Team and two years for the Golden West Swim team…son of Steve an Nancy Cornes…environmental science major.
