2017 Highlights: Garnered Honorable Mention All-MIVA accoladefs...named to All-MIVA Tournament Team....selected as the MIVA Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending January 15th, after averaging 12.5 kills and 0.78 blocks-per-match; and hit .526 (25 kills, 5 errors, 38 attacks) in wins over both Harvard (Jan. 13) and No. 5 Pepperdine (Jan. 14)...hit a blistering .737 (15-1-19) with a career-high 15 kills against Pepperdine...earned Academic All-MIVA accolades...started all 30 matches and was only Flyer to play all 123 sets...led team with 124 total blocks (9 solo) and was second on the squad in hitting percentage (.406)...was second on the team in service aces (30) and third overall in kills (203)...had 10+ kills in four matches - all Flyer wins.
2016 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence…AVCA Honorable Mention All-American…All-MIVA Second Team…MIVA Defensive Player of the Week (Jan. 26)…started 31 matches…recorded 14 kills and three blocks vs. UC Irvine (March 12)…added 11 kills, four blocks and two aces at Ball State (Feb. 18)…totaled nine blocks vs. Erskine (Jan. 23)…notched eight kills and seven blocks vs. Grand Canyon (April 15).
2015 Highlights: Named to the MIVA All-Tournament Team...selected as the MIVA Defensive Player of the Week twice for the periods ending April 7th and April 21st...was the only Flyer this season to play in all 31 matches...nabbed his first double-double against Ohio State (March 13) with ten kills and ten blocks...contributed ten kills, eight blocks and two aces in the NCAA CHampionship match against Loyola (March 9)...Academic All-MIVA selection.
2014 Highlights: Academic All-MIVA selection...selected as the MIVA Defensive Player of the Week on Jan. 28 after recordeding 11 blocks against Harvard...played in 22 matches with 17 starts...totaled nine kills and four block assists at Ball State (March 29)...finished with six kills and three block assists at Stanford (Jan. 10)...added six block assists at Pacific (Jan. 11).
2013 Highlights:Â Used season as a redshirt campaign.
Prep/Personal: Named Chicago Sun-Times All-Area Third Team, Daily Herald All-Area and West Suburban Gold All-Conference as a senior...recorded 325 kills, 125 digs and 49 blocks during his final year...chosen to attend the J. Kyle Braid Athletic Leadership Conference following his sophomore year...selected to the USA Men’s 2012 Junior A2 Program...son of David and Cynthia...finance major.
