Biography

2018 Highlights: Appeared in seven matches with two starts...recorded a career-high six kills in the three set win over Lincoln Memorial (March 2)...he had a perfect hitting percentage in that match (6-0-6)...he recorded a career-high five blocks in the five-set loss at Ohio State in the MIVA semifinals.

2017 Highlights: Appeared in season-opener against No. 3 Brigham Young.

2016 Highlights: Academic All-MIVA selection…played in four matches…recorded one kill and one block vs. Princeton (March 16)...earned Academic All-MIVA accolades...

2015 Highlights: Used this season as a redshirt campaign.

Prep/Personal: Three-year letterwinner for the Andrew Thunderbolts...as a senior, he hit .386 and finished the campaign with 139 kills and combined 69 solo and block assists in 2014...son of Jeffrey Vander Zanden...business major.
