2008 Highlights: Deans' List student both semesters and a Delahanty recipient...named to MIVA Academic All-Conference team...played in eight matches with one start...tallied a career-high eight kills with no errors at MSOE (April 1)...finished with five kills vs. Newbury (March 14)...added three kills vs. MSOE (Jan. 22).
Prep/Personal: Earned four varsity letters, as a junior helped team to Elite Eight and third place finish in state, recorded 282 kills, 147 digs and 31 blocks...AAU National Champions, AAU All-American at middle back with Powerhouse 16s (summer 2005)...Junior Olympics Nationals 5th place with Adversity Elite 17s (2005-06)...Powerhouse 18s (2006-07)...2006 Youth National A2 Team selection at right side...won 2006 boys High Performance Championship with USA Red...son of James and Mara Schmidt...music and music merchandising major.
