2015 Highlights: Started nine games on the mound, and threw five complete games with 11 total appearances…compiled a 6-4 record with a 2.80 era…faced 237 batters, allowing only 62 hits and striking out a team high 45…threw a shut-out against McKendree (March 28) allowing a mere three hits in seven innings…stuck out ten batters in a complete game win over Drury (March 15).

2014 Highlights: Started 13 games on the mound…threw a complete-game seven inning shutout with seven strikeouts vs. Ohio Dominican (Feb. 23)…threw back-to-back nine-inning complete game victories at McKendree (April 26) and vs. Bellarmine (May 3)…allowed three runs in 6.0 innings to get the win at Indianapolis (April 5).

Prior to Lewis: Helpied Black Hawk College to back-to-back Arrowhead Conference and Sectional titles in 2012 and 2013...the 2013 All-Conference pitcher and infielder put together a 6-4 record on the mound with a 1.82 ERA with 80 strikeouts. At the plate, Cox hit .370 with eight doubles and 36 RBI.

Prep/Personal: In 2011, the three-time letterman was an All-State selection and helped the Erie squad to a third-place finish at the Class 2A State Championship, finishing with a 26-5-1 record...as a senior, he hit .486 with six home runs, 16 doubles, and 48 RBI while going 10-1 on the mound with a 1.13 ERA and 126 strikeouts...son of Becky and Eamonn Cox...Sport Management major.
