Biography

2016 Highlights: Academic All-MIVA selection…All-MIVA Second Team…played in all 32 matches with 30 starts…tallied 56 assists and nine digs vs. UC Irvine (March 12)…recorded 51 assists and four blocks vs. Saint Francis (Jan. 15)…added 47 assists and three aces vs. Harvard (Jan. 7).

2015 Highlights: Named to Academic All-MIVA Team...selected All-MIVA Second Team...started in all but a single match for the Flyers...set a season-high 52 assists in the NCAA Championship against Loyola (May 9)...aced Penn State twice in the NCAA Semi-Final match (May 7)...grabbed his first career double-double against Loyola (March 9) with 45 assists and 11 digs...had 12.5 assists per set (50) in the MIVA Championship match against Loyola (May 1).

2014 Highlights: Named to Academic All-MIVA Team...played in nine matches with three starts...recorded 43 assists, four digs and three blocks vs. Erskine (Jan. 18)...recorded 36 assists vs. Saint Francis (March 21)...added 33 assists vs. George Mason (March 14).

2013 Highlights: Appeared in six sets in five matches…had a career-high 28 assists at IPFW (April 13)…collected two service aces and two block assists at IPFW (April 13).

Prep/Personal: Named first team all-state, Chicago Sun-Times All-Area and Southtown Star All-Area as a senior...selected to the IHSA All-Star game as a senior...recorded 373 assists and 126 kills his senior year in 2012...as a junior, led Sandburg to an IHSA State Championship and a 39-3 record...brings club experience with Ultimate Volleyball Club...his 18-gold team went 59-4...son of Greg and Jan...accounting major.
