Eagle Invite Results

Woodridge, Ill. – The Lewis University men's golf JV team won the Benedictine University Eagle Invite on Sunday (Oct. 6) with a team score of 313.
 
The seven-team field played at Seven Bridges Golf Club (par-72, 6,687-yards). North Park University's Martin Carlsson won the individual title with a 72.
 
Flyer senior Dan Petrarca (Mokena, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) finished in second-place with a 74 while freshman Ethan Yamada (Arvada, Colo./Ralson) was a stroke off in third-place with a score of 75.
 
Senior Mark Bermele (Evergreen Park, Ill./Brother Rice) and freshman Jack Pedersen (Arvada, Colo./Ralson) both shot an 82 to tie for 12th. Freshman Matt Stoner (Mokena, Ill./Lincoln-Way East) rounded out the Flyers with an 85, finishing in the top-20.
 
The Lewis men's golf team is next in action at the Midwest Regional #2 at Fox Run Country Club in Eureka, Mo.
