Green Bay, Wis. – Lewis University sophomore Robert Dofflemyer III (Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere) turned in a two-under par second round to finish in sixth place (78-70=148) as the men's golf team finished with a score of 618 (309-309) on Tuesday (Sept. 10).
 
The Flyers played the par-72, 7,097-yard Green Bay Golf Course, hosted by UW-Green Bay.
 
Junior Ryan Frederick (Lockport, Ill./Lockport) also trimmed his second-day score to finish with a score of 152 (78-74), landing in 12th-place.
 
Sophomore Alex Thode (Washington, Iowa/Washington) finished with a 159 (78-81), while senior Mark Bermele (Evergreen Park, Ill./Brother Rice) was a stroke off with a total of 160 (75-85).
 
Junior Anthony Lodovico (Homer Glen, Ill. /Lockport Township) rounded out the Flyers with a score of 167 (83-84).
 
UW-Green Bay won the team title with a score of 585 (292-293) while the Phoenix' Tom Bockmeier picked up individual accolades with a total of 141 (71-70).
 
The Flyers return to the links on Monday (Sept. 16) when they take part in the UW-Parkside Fall Invitational at Strawberry Creek Golf Club in Kenosha, Wis.
