Both Lewis Swim Squads Earn CSCAA Team Scholar Awards

Complete list of CSCAA 2014 Fall Team Scholar Awards: men / women

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released its 2014 Fall Team Scholar All-America Awards on Tuesday (Feb. 24), with both Lewis University swimming squads appearing on the list. The Lewis women's squad earned a 3.46 team GPA while the men's squad recorded a 3.09 mark. The women were one of 47 teams recognized in the nation while 20 men's programs were honored. Lewis was one of 16 schools to recieve honors for both the women's and men's teams.

Both Lewis squads ranked second in the Great Lakes Valley Conference for overall GPA.
 
The Team Scholar All-American Award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams who achieved a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. 
 
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America is the oldest professional organization of college coaches in America. The CSCAA is dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
