Bryce Holesinger (Fulton, Ill./Fulton) currently sits in first place in the decathlon following first day action of the Chicagoland Men's Track and Field Championships, hosted by the College of DuPage, on Friday (April 10) evening.
Holesinger has racked up 3,315 points, followed by Lewis senior
Dan Lentz (Minooka, Ill./Minooka), who is in second place with 3,192 points.
Holesinger took second place in both the high jump (1.76m) and 400-meter dash (52.05); and won the long jump (6.54m).. Lentz won the shot put (10.78m) and high jump (1.84m).
Second day action is set to begin at 9 AM on Saturday (April 11).
