Lewis Men's Swimming Beats University of Findlay In Head To Head

Romeoville, Ill. - Saturday afternoon the Lewis University men's swimming team beat Findlay 138 to 66 in the head to head, winning nine of the ten races.

"I thought we swam well today." Coach Roger Karns said, "The swimmers are tired and beat up from intense training but swam very well. We were very proud of them"

The Flyers took first in both the 200 medley relay (1:36.83) as well as the 400 freestyle relay (3:09.52).

Quinn Poti (Orlando, Fla./Timber Creek) had a good day placing first in the 200 IM (1:54.75) and 500 freestyle (4:44.16). Mads Knoblauch also had his fair share of first place finishes winning the 100 backstroke and 200 freestyle. Aiden Brennan also swam very well in the 1000 yard freestyle finishing the race in 9:56.26, good enough to earn first place.

The next meet will be in Indianapolis, Indiana for the House of Champions on November 18.
